Talofa Lava my name is Leetia and I am a year 8 student attending Glen Taylor School. I am 12 years of age and I am in room 11. I am half Samoan and half Maori. In my family I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. Some of my favourite hobbies are singing, dancing and swimming.In learning I am good at writing. Writing is most probably my favourite subject because it’s where I get to express all my thoughts and ideas. Maths and Reading are my weakest subjects but I still try. I enjoy learning things I never knew before and creating beautiful pieces of art. My goals this year are to get higher grades in Reading and Maths and to be more confident speaking in front of a small or big group.This year I am looking forward to all the upcoming school events that they have prepared for us. I’m also looking forward to learning with other students and getting to know more about others. If I could think of someone that inspires me it would my teacher because she’s always there to help me when i’m stuck and she always tries her best to make our grades good.
